Michele St.Pierre's artistic career has spanned the past three decades. Her work is both moving and bright, thoughtful and relatable. Her subject matter is common until they find their way under her skilled brush or pencil. Explorations in the realm of abstraction have taken St.Pierre's work in an expressive but fulfilling tangent. These two methods combined in her current work add stylistic vibrance to her realistic paintings.
She honed her skills as a graduate of Rhode Island College and as a student of the RISD Scientific and Biological Illustration certificate program. An accomplished arts educator, she has taught both privately and in a middle/high school setting for most of her career. These considerable talents in and out of the classroom led her to receive the High School Art Teacher's Fellowship Award at Skidmore College in New York.
